FIFA World Cup Men’s football tournament is typically taking place after every four years in summer, but the 2022 World Cup is being pushed back to the winter months due to too hot in June and July in Qatar.

FIFA has confirmed the World Cup 2022 is set to take place in Qatar from November 20 to December 18. The opening match will kick off on Sunday, November 20 at the Al Bayt stadium in Al Khor and the final match will be played on Sunday, December 18 at Lusail Stadium in Doha.

FIFA confirmed that there are traditionally 32 teams that will compete in the 2022 Qatar World Cup maybe for the last time. The organization will announce its finals draw for the qualifiers in April 2022.
